Hi, I don’t know if this site is an official site of Chrome, but I would like to ask for a configuration on the tabbing, for instance, instead of moving forward or backward with Ctrl+Tab o Ctrl+Shift+Tab, I would like this shortcut to be configured so I can go between last tabs visited by me, for instance I have 4 opened tabs, and currently now I’m only working with number 2 and 4. I would like to move only between this 2 tabs with Ctrl+Tab
Regards
Thanks! This was super helpful.
Hi PatoKike,
Thanks for your comment.
This site is not affiliated with Google in anyway. You can give them any type of feedback using http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/request.py?contact_type=feedback.
Answer to PatoKike:
Couldn’t you use Ctrl+2 and Ctrl+4 for this purpose?
Does anyone know a shortcut for how to go to the entries in the bookmark? It seems like that you must use the mouse to point to the “Other bookmarks” menu item which should be possible by use of a shortcut.
Br,
Bjørn
In Short:
What would cause me to stop using Mozilla would be Google Chrome PLUS the forward-slash search function. I am a strict keyboard user and stay away from the mouse at all costs.
Description:
In Mozilla, if you type the forward-slash and then enter a string a text, it will dynamically highlight text within the current window. If the text that is highlighted is a link, you can hit enter to browse to that link. If the text is NOT a link, you can hit tab to browse to the closest link and enter to go to the target.
Will Google Chrome support this natively?
Thanks.
I am the same way–cannot live without being able to search and then hit ENTER to launch the link I just found
What is the shortcut to go back a page?
What is the key-stroke or key-strokes shortcut to go back to the last page?
@ Mike Barnett – its *backspace* key
I like Google Chrome so much, it`s way better then Firefox or IE(duh, everything is better then IE). I can`t wait for the next Google application.
Should have Alt+shortcut_letter on popup context menu when right-click on link or page.
Touchpad scrolling works better in IE… I know that`s nit picky but I want it all baby!
